Emerald Wharf takes its Host Responsibility obligations seriously, in accordance with the Gambling Act 2003. The casino entertainment area is available exclusively to guests aged 20 and over, and valid photo identification is required at the door — a passport, a New Zealand driver licence or a Kiwi Access Card.
Guests may request voluntary self-exclusion from the casino hall at any time. Speak to a member of our casino staff or to hotel management and it will be handled confidentially. Our staff are trained to recognise the signs of problem gambling and to offer support.
